InfiPoints is a one-stop solution

Shinryo evaluated several point cloud data processing software and selected InfiPoints of Elysium to meet the following requirements:

1. Able to browse huge point cloud data with high performance (original data: 8GB/ object: large buildings)

2. Able to process the whole process of point cloud data, from data import to roaming video

InfiPoints has been widely used in practical projects of Shinryo company to improve work efficiency.

Case 1: improve the efficiency of 3d modeling for DHC system update

With the help of InfiPoints, Shinryo Heating and Cooling District Heating and Cooling system for DHC to improve the efficiency of CAD model construction.

Firstly, the 3d scan data is processed by splicing and noise removal, and the modeling function of automatic cylinder and plane model extraction is used.They then import the generated CAD models into their in-house CAD system, "s-cad", and modify the existing CAD models of the plumbing and surrounding systems.Compared with contact measurement, 3d laser scanning is an effective and labor-saving solution, especially for multi-layer pipeline systems, where pipelines are high and difficult to reach.However, they have also successfully reduced the delivery time of 3d models by utilizing InfiPoint's ability to automatically extract planes and pipes.

Project case 2: collision inspection before air-conditioning system renovation

Shinryo used InfiPoints to carry out the renovation project of air conditioning equipment rooms of large commercial facilities.They extracted the plane and pipe geometry from the point cloud data, and generated the CAD model of the pipe system, and retained the effective pipe and joint parts in InfiPoints.

In addition, they also carried out virtual assembly of equipment in InfiPoints, checked the interference to existing equipment (such as electrical equipment and fire extinguishing system), and controlled the imported CAD model of new equipment within the point cloud ring.Compared with the traditional method of using sketches and photographs, the 3d scanning scheme significantly reduces the rework in the actual reconstruction work.
